Ida Josefiina is a filmmaker and creative director based in New York City. Born in Finnish Lapland, she spent her earliest childhood years marveling at the infinite Arctic sky before moving to California at the age of nine. Having grown up between two such distinct environments, she developed a sensitivity to how the small physics of a place shape subjective reality.

A writer first, Ida has been experimenting with the power of story through multiple side-quests in politics, fashion, and technology. Before film, she ran a fashion studio in London and later founded a consumer technology company in New York.

Today, her work spans commercial as well as independent film. Her films share a surreal, character-driven sensibility that capture the vows of self and identity in flux. She works with brands through her production company, Josephine & Company.
